Industrial Business Unit

The Industrial Business Unit began in household appliances and today carries that culture of capacity, tolerances and volume into premium, higher-margin markets. It is at the centre of the Group’s repositioning: from moulder to partner delivering functionally validated components.

Five sectors, one way of working: co-design from the concept stage, documented industrialisation, production on a fleet of more than two hundred moulding machines from 60 to 1,600 tonnes, and in-line quality control.

Our customers include European leaders in the household appliance sector, for whom we have produced technical and decorative components in high volumes for decades. Capacity, decorative finishes, overmoulding of meshes and integrated logistics are the strengths on which we were selected.

We serve European players in HVAC and heat pumps with large-format components produced at Bovezzo, weather-resistant finishes, expertise in overmoulding of meshes and filters, and an ISO 14001 certified environmental management system that is increasingly required at the qualification stage.

We address European manufacturers of electric charging infrastructure with a co-design approach: we start from your concept and develop the component together, with a free DFM session that on average reduces the cost of the component by 15-25% when carried out before the design is finalised. Large tonnage at Bovezzo, multi-colour moulding for brand customisation, ISO 14001 effective.

The Scame Group specialises in electric charging infrastructure and in plastic components for the energy transition. We do not operate in automotive segments: interiors, ADAS or vehicle components.

Bring us a component, not a specification

We review your design for manufacturability at no cost: we look at geometry, material and process and tell you what can be improved before the design is closed. If complex engineering changes or a CAD redesign are needed, we quote that work separately.
